BASSDASH Fly Fishing Assorted Flies Kit — 64‑Piece Pack with Magnetic Fly Box, Dry & Wet Patterns

The BASSDASH Fly Fishing Assorted Flies Kit is a 64-piece selection of dry flies, wet flies, nymphs, streamers, terrestrials and leeches neatly organized in a magnetic fly box for versatile freshwater fishing.

Whether you’re assembling your first fly box or topping up an existing selection, this kit gives anglers a broad range of patterns and sizes to match common hatch stages and water conditions. The flies are preloaded into a lockable, compact box so you can carry a complete micro-arsenal without fuss. Use these to experiment across streams, rivers, ponds, and lakes when targeting trout, bass, panfish or steelhead.

Which fly types are included and why does variety matter?

The kit covers multiple fly families—Mayfly dries, caddis dries, miscellaneous dry patterns, wet flies, nymphs, streamers, leeches and terrestrial-style imitations—so you can present both surface and subsurface options. Variety helps you match insect life, depth, and fish feeding behavior through the day.

• Mayfly and caddis dries for surface feeding and picky fish on sunny days
• Nymphs imitate immature insect stages that trout often target underwater
• Streamers and leeches entice larger, predator-driven fish in deeper or stained water
• Terrestrials for late-summer beetle and ant activity along banks

How is the kit organized and does the box protect flies on the move?

Flies arrive loaded in a compact, durable fly box with a magnetic closure designed to stay shut in a vest pocket or tackle bag. The box keeps hooks separated and minimizes tangles while allowing quick access when a pattern switch is needed mid-cast.

• Secure magnetic fastener for travel and quick opening
• Internal foam or slots hold flies upright and separated
• Compact footprint fits vest, belt pack, or backpack compartment
• Clear lid options allow pattern identification without opening

What species and situations will these flies cover?

This assortment targets freshwater species that respond to both surface and subsurface presentations. Use dries for sight-feeding trout, nymphs for deeper, feeding trout, and larger streamers or leeches for bass and steelhead when they’re hunting baitfish or larger prey.

• Trout: dries and nymphs to match hatches and subsurface feeding
• Bass and panfish: streamers and terrestrials provoke aggressive strikes
• Steelhead and migratory fish: leeches and larger streamers in deeper runs
• Flexible for river drift, stillwater stripping, and pocket-water fishing

Who is this for? Anglers who want a ready-to-fish starter collection, weekenders who need compact options for multiple conditions, and experienced casters who like a portable backup box will all find value in the BASSDASH 64-piece kit. It’s well suited for classroom-style learning, guiding trips, or simply carrying a broad set of patterns in one lightweight container. The kit helps you test what works on a given day without buying individual flies, making it an efficient way to build confidence on new water.
