basic home Goose Feather Pillow Insert 18x18 Inch — Hotel-Style, 233TC Cotton Shell & No-Poke Inner Liner

basic home® Hotel-Style 18x18 Goose Feather Pillow Insert is a plush, odor-free cushion filler with a 233-thread-count cotton cover and an inner liner to stop feather poke.

This 18x18-inch insert is crafted to deliver the lifted, tailored look you see in boutique hotels while remaining comfortable and low-maintenance. Filled with carefully cleaned goose feathers and housed in a soft 233TC cotton shell plus an inner air chamber lining, it combines resilience, breathability, and a no-poke design so your decorative covers stay smooth and your cushions feel full. The insert ships compressed but quickly springs back to shape after a brief tumble-dry refresh.

How does this insert recreate that luxury hotel look on my sofa or bed?

The insert is packed to provide a full, sculpted silhouette—perfect for the “chopped” or plumped finish designers recommend. Its loft and support let you shape each corner and edge for a refined appearance without sagging.

• Generous feather fill for a firm, tailored profile
• 18x18 inch size fits most standard throw covers
• Resilient fill that regains loft after use
• Works with downproof covers for a crisp finish

Will feathers come through my pillow cover or cause odors?

The insert uses a double-layer design: a high-quality 233TC cotton outer and an inner lining that locks feathers inside, minimizing pokes and leakage. The filling is thoroughly cleaned to remove odors common to raw feathers, giving you a neutral-smelling cushion right out of the box.

• Inner air-chamber liner prevents feather migration
• 233-thread-count cotton reduces friction and wear
• Processed goose feathers to eliminate unpleasant smells
• Seams finished to keep fill secure over time

How do I care for the insert so it stays plump and fresh?

Maintenance is simple: if the insert arrives compressed or flattens with use, a 10–15 minute low-heat tumble dry restores loft. Spot cleaning and occasional airing keep it smelling fresh; follow care tags for longer life.

• Tumble dry low for 10–15 minutes to refresh loft
• Spot clean spills promptly with mild detergent
• Avoid high heat and aggressive washing to protect the lining
• Rotate and fluff regularly to maintain shape

What makes this insert a versatile addition to my home decor?

Its neutral, hotel-style profile complements many cover fabrics and room styles. Use it in living rooms, bedrooms, guest suites, or even as a compact lumbar support in vehicles—its size and structure adapt easily to multiple styling needs.

• Fits standard 18x18 decorative pillow covers
• Works well with linen, velvet, cotton, and synthetic covers
• Suitable for sofas, beds, benches, and car use
• Creates a consistent, polished look across rooms
