BASF Wasp-Freeze insecticide spray, 14 oz — 15-ft range, instant knockdown

BASF PT Wasp-Freeze is a 14 oz pressurized insecticide spray designed for rapid knockdown of wasps, hornets, yellowjackets and nuisance spiders for indoor or outdoor targeted treatments.

This ready-to-use aerosol delivers a long-range spray and residual activity to treat nests, webs and localized infestations safely from a distance. Formulated for professional-strength performance but packaged for consumer use, PT Wasp-Freeze lets you attack active insects and their resting places while minimizing exposure. Always read and follow label directions and local regulations before use.

How fast does it stop stinging insects and spiders?

The formula gives an immediate knockdown effect on contact and reduces the chance of pests escaping or continuing aggressive behavior during application. Its rapid action also helps limit movement of insects, lowering the risk of spreading the problem to nearby areas.

• Instant knockdown on contact to wasps, hornets and yellowjackets
• Effective on common spiders such as black widow and brown recluse
• Quick control helps prevent dispersal of pests while treating a nest

How far can the spray reach and why does that matter?

PT Wasp-Freeze sprays up to about 15 feet, allowing you to treat nests and high or difficult-to-reach spots while keeping a safe distance. Reaching farther reduces the need to approach active colonies and makes treating overhead eaves, attics, and yard fixtures more practical.

• Up to a 15-foot spray range for treating distant nests
• Designed to minimize user proximity to aggressive insects
• Notable flame projection characteristics; follow label cautions around flammable surfaces

Will this product prevent re-infestation after treatment?

In addition to providing immediate knockdown, the product includes residual activity that helps eliminate remaining insects and deter re-establishment at the treated site. Residual control improves long-term results when applied to nests, entry points and resting areas.

• Residual formulation reduces chance of quick re-colonization
• Best used directly on nests, webbing, and known harborages
• Follow label for recommended re-entry intervals and retreatment timing

What safety and use considerations should I know?

PT Wasp-Freeze is a pressurized, professional-grade aerosol; read and follow all label instructions for application, storage and disposal. It can cause moderate eye irritation and may stain asphalt or shingles, so use appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid spraying on desirable surfaces.

• Causes moderate eye irritation — wear eye protection and gloves
• May stain roofing or pavement; test or avoid sensitive surfaces
• Contains no CFCs; observe state restrictions and local regulations

Who is this for: BASF PT Wasp-Freeze is suited for homeowners, property managers and pest control technicians who need a robust, long-range aerosol for targeted wasp, hornet, yellowjacket and spider control. It is most useful when you require quick knockdown from a distance and follow-up residual protection, but it should be used only by people comfortable with pressurized insecticides and who will follow label safety directions.
