Baja Gold Mineral Sea Salt Fine Grind 5 lb Bag — Unrefined, Trace-Mineral Rich, Resealable

Baja Gold Mineral Sea Salt (Fine Grind) is an unrefined, trace-mineral rich sea salt milled to a flour-like texture for everyday seasoning and baking.

Harvested using traditional coastal methods and left unprocessed to preserve its natural minerals, this Baja Gold fine-grind sea salt offers a clean, full flavor that blends quickly and evenly into recipes. The 5 lb bag supplies a kitchen or pantry with a long-lasting source of natural salt, ideal for cooks who prefer an additive-free seasoning option that dissolves fast and seasons by hand.

How is Baja Gold different from regular table salt?

Baja Gold is unrefined sea salt, meaning it keeps naturally occurring trace minerals that are removed during industrial refining. It contains minerals like magnesium and potassium that subtly influence flavor and mouthfeel.

• Unrefined processing retains trace minerals and a fuller taste.
• No anti-caking agents or added iodine—simple ingredient list.
• Harvested using traditional evaporation techniques rather than chemical processing.
• Fine grind for rapid dissolution and even seasoning.

What makes the fine grind practical in the kitchen?

The fine, flour-like texture dissolves quickly, so it seasons sauces, batters, and finished dishes without gritty bits. It’s especially handy when you need an even salt distribution or fast incorporation into liquids.

• Ideal for baking, sautéing, and mixing into dressings or marinades.
• Pinch-friendly for hand seasoning and finishing dishes.
• Works well in recipes requiring precise, even salt dispersion.
• Fastest dissolving among our grind options for smoother sauces and batters.

How is the product packaged and stored to keep freshness?

The salt is sold in a reclosable 5 lb bag designed to reduce moisture exposure and retain flavor. The resealable closure lets you use measured amounts and keep the remainder protected between uses.

• Resealable closure to limit humidity and odor transfer.
• Large-format 5 lb size for frequent cooks or bulk stocking.
• Opaque bag reduces light exposure that can affect ingredient quality.
• Easy to scoop or pour from for fast prep work.

Can I use this salt for finishing dishes or only for cooking?

While the fine grind is best for cooking, baking, and emulsions where fast dissolution is needed, you can also use it as a subtle finishing salt when a delicate texture is preferred. For a crunchy finish, choose a coarser grind.

• Use fine grind for batters, sauces, and dressings.
• Suitable for everyday table use when a smooth mouthfeel is desired.
• Swap to coarser Baja Gold varieties for visible crystals on finished plates.
• Works well when measuring salt precisely in recipes.
