BADLANDS RANCH Air-Dried Fish & Turkey Dog Food, 24 oz — 87% Real Meat, High-Protein Whole-Food

This air-dried recipe combines whitefish, turkey, turkey organ meat and salmon into a single, shelf-stable formula that keeps more natural nutrients by cooking slowly at low temperatures instead of exposing ingredients to high-heat processing. The final mix includes 13% seeds, vegetables, fruit, minerals and vitamins, and it intentionally avoids corn, wheat, soy and common fillers. Whether you use it as a complete daily meal or a nutrient-dense topper, the texture and aroma are designed to appeal to dogs while providing a concentrated source of animal protein.

How is air-dried different from traditional kibble or canned food?

Air-drying uses gentle, low-temperature drying to slowly remove moisture, which preserves more of the original nutrient profile and flavor than high-heat extrusion. The result is a dense, chewy product that mimics the nutrition of raw-style diets without refrigeration.

• Preserves natural proteins, fats and flavors through slow drying.
• Creates a shelf-stable product without canning or freezing.
• Offers a texture dogs find palatable and easy to break up into smaller pieces.

Can I feed this as a full meal or should I mix it with my dog’s current food?

BADLANDS RANCH Air-Dried Fish & Turkey is formulated to serve both roles: it can be fed as a complete meal or used as a high-value topper to enhance dry food. Adjust portion sizes according to your dog’s weight, activity level and calorie needs, and transition gradually over several days to avoid digestive upset.

• Complete meal: follow feeding guide based on body weight and activity.
• Topper: sprinkle over existing kibble to boost protein and palatability.
• Transition tip: mix increasing amounts over 5–7 days for sensitive dogs.

What ingredients are in the recipe and what does 87% meat mean?

The recipe centers on whitefish, turkey, turkey organ meat and salmon, which together make up 87% of the formula by ingredient weight before drying. The remaining 13% includes seeds, vegetables, fruits, minerals and vitamins to round out the nutritional profile without using corn, wheat, soy or fillers.

• Main proteins: whitefish, turkey, turkey organs, and salmon.
• Complementary components: seeds, veggies, fruit, vitamins and minerals.
• No common fillers: free from corn, wheat, soy and artificial bulking agents.

How do I store and serve the 24 oz bag for best freshness?

The product is shelf-stable but stays freshest when kept sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Serve measured portions in a bowl; no rehydration or cooking required, and there’s no refrigeration needed after opening if the bag is properly sealed.

• Keep bag sealed tightly between uses to retain texture and aroma.
• Store in a pantry or cupboard away from heat and light.
• Ready-to-serve—just measure, pour and feed according to weight.
