AUVON Plug-in Night Light Motion Sensor Nightlight, 4-Pack — Dusk-to-Dawn, Adjustable Brightness

The AUVON Plug-in Night Light 4-Pack is a compact, energy-efficient LED that combines motion detection and dusk-to-dawn sensing with adjustable brightness for safe, hands-free lighting in hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms, and stairs.

These plug-in lights provide automated illumination that turns on when you need it and stays off when you don't, helping cut electricity use while guiding movement through dark spaces. Each unit fits a standard wall outlet without blocking the second socket, offers five-step and stepless dimming, and includes built-in safety features like a flame-retardant shell and over-current protection. The set of four is designed for easy installation—simply plug in and choose a mode.

How does the motion sensor improve nighttime safety?

The motion sensor detects movement within about 3–5 meters and a 120° field of view, activating the light only in low ambient light. It stays on while motion continues and automatically shuts off after 60 seconds without movement, giving short-term illumination for quick trips across a room.

• Motion range: approximately 3–5 meters with 120° coverage
• Auto-off delay: 60 seconds after motion stops
• Operates only in low-light conditions to prevent unnecessary activation

What dimming options are available and how easy is adjustment?

Brightness can be tailored to your needs via short presses for five preset levels and a long-press for continuous stepless adjustment between about 1–50 lumens. The last brightness setting is remembered while the night light remains powered, so you won’t need to reconfigure the level each time it comes on.

• Five-step quick dimming with short presses
• Stepless fine-tune dimming with a long press for precise control
• Memory retains the last brightness while power is supplied

What modes does the night light offer and when should I use each?

There are two independent sensing modes: AUTO and NIGHT. Use AUTO for motion-triggered lighting only in darkness; choose NIGHT to have the light simply respond to ambient light levels and remain on during dark conditions without motion activation.

• AUTO Mode: motion-activated only in low ambient light for short-term use
• NIGHT Mode: ambient light sensor turns the unit on in darkness and off in daylight
• Modes operate independently so you can pick the one matching each room’s needs

How safe and energy-efficient are these plug-in lights?

Each AUVON night light uses low-power LEDs (maximum about 1.3 W), keeping annual energy costs negligible. The housing meets V-0 flame-retardant standards and includes over-current protection to reduce risks when used with household outlets.

• Maximum power 1.3 W, very low electricity consumption
• V-0 flame-resistant casing for improved safety
• Includes over-current protection and leaves the second outlet usable

Who is this for: This 4-pack suits households looking to add unobtrusive, automatic lighting to multiple locations—ideal for parents, elders, renters, or anyone who wants safe night navigation without bright overhead lights. It’s especially useful in corridors, children’s rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and stairways where quick, low-level illumination reduces trips and bumps while keeping energy use minimal.
