AUVON Magnetic Rechargeable Night Light 2-Pack — Motion & Dusk-to-Dawn, Long Battery Life

The AUVON Magnetic Rechargeable Night Light is a 2-pack of motion-activated, dusk-to-dawn LED lights with magnetic mounting and long battery life for hands-free illumination in hallways, closets, and nurseries.

These compact, rechargeable LED lights combine passive infrared motion sensing with a dusk-to-dawn feature so they only activate when needed. Each unit offers two brightness levels plus three operating modes (Auto, On, Off), and mounts easily with a magnetic strip or adhesive pads. A short two-hour USB charge can provide months of intermittent use, making these lights a low-maintenance option for adding safe, soft lighting where outlets or wiring aren’t practical.

How quickly do these lights react to movement?

The AUVON lights use a passive infrared motion sensor designed to detect human movement within about 3–5 meters and trigger instantly. When motion stops, the lamp automatically turns off after approximately 20 seconds, which conserves battery power while still giving you enough illumination to navigate safely.

• Motion range: roughly 3–5 meters (10–16 feet)
• Auto shutoff: about 20 seconds after no movement
• Sensors: passive infrared for reliable human-motion detection

What are the charging and battery performance details?

These are second-generation rechargeable night lights that eliminate the need for disposable AAA batteries. A full USB charge takes around two hours; in Auto+Medium mode a single charge can last up to 180 days under typical intermittent use, which makes them ideal for low-traffic areas.

• Charging time: approximately 2 hours via included USB cable
• Runtime: up to 180 days in Auto+Medium usage scenarios
• Mounting options preserve battery use by avoiding constant on power draws

Where and how can I mount these lights?

Each lamp includes a magnetic strip and double-sided adhesive pads for flexible placement on walls, stair risers, closets, cabinets, or inside pet areas. The compact base also lets the light stand freely on flat surfaces, so you can move it without tools or drilling when needed.

• Magnetic strip for metal surfaces or magnetic wall plate
• Double-sided adhesive pads for drywall, wood, or tile
• Free-standing base for countertops, nightstands, or shoe racks

Which lighting modes and brightness settings are available?

The AUVON unit provides two brightness choices (high and medium) and three operational modes: AUTO (motion + dusk-to-dawn), ON (constant light), and OFF. You toggle brightness with a single top button and switch modes to suit different rooms or times of day, giving you quick control without a smartphone or hub.

• Two brightness levels for ambient or task lighting
• AUTO mode combines motion detection and dusk sensitivity
• ON mode for continuous light; OFF for storage or travel

Who is this for? These two-pack AUVON night lights suit households that want no-fuss, cordless illumination for safety and convenience: parents setting up soft lighting for nurseries and hallways; seniors or anyone needing safer night-time navigation on stairs; renters or homeowners who prefer non-invasive mounting; and campers or RV owners who need rechargeable, portable lights. Each package includes two AUVON night lights, one USB cable, a user manual, adhesive accessories, and up to a 24-month warranty with lifetime technical support, making it an easy add-on to kitchens, bathrooms, closets, entryways, and kid spaces where brief, automatic light is most useful.
