AUGO Magnetic Screen Door 38 x 83 in — Heavy-Duty Self-Sealing Mesh, Hands-Free Pet-Friendly

The AUGO Magnetic Screen Door is a self-sealing, heavy-duty mesh doorway that keeps insects out while letting fresh air and pets pass freely.

This magnetic screen is designed to fit a standard 36" x 82" doorway (screen measures 38" x 83") and installs quickly with included hook-and-loop tape and push pins. Constructed from durable polyester mesh, the screen seals automatically with a full-length magnetic strip down the center and a full-frame attachment for a tighter fit than partial-strip designs. A patent-pending keep-open feature snaps the sides back when you want the opening held open during gatherings or heavy foot traffic.

How does the AUGO screen stop bugs while letting air flow?

The mesh is tightly woven enough to block mosquitoes, flies and other common insects yet loose enough to allow steady air circulation. The two magnetic strips meet in the middle to form a continuous seal after each pass, minimizing gaps where pests can enter.

• Heavy-duty polyester mesh repels insects without blocking breeze
• Full-length magnets provide continuous closure—no intermittent gaps
• Full-frame hook-and-loop tape reduces edge lift and drafts

Is it easy to install and will it stay in place?

Yes. Installation is straightforward: clean the door frame surface, unroll the screen, attach the included hook-and-loop tape, and reinforce with push pins where needed. The combination of full-frame tape and extra push pins creates a secure mount suitable for regular use.

• Screen size: 38" x 83" designed to fit 36" x 82" openings
• Quick stick tape for fast setup; push pins for extra strength
• Best results if surface is cleaned and dried before attaching

Will kids and pets be able to use it safely and easily?

The mesh is lightweight enough for children and small to medium pets to push through hands-free, and durable enough to tolerate frequent use. Unlike single-point closures, the continuous magnets help the screen reclose reliably behind them to maintain protection.

• Polyester material resists wear while remaining flexible
• Hands-free passage supports strollers, pet traffic and groceries
• Magnets align automatically for consistent resealing after each passage

What is the keep-open feature and when should I use it?

The patent-pending keep-open snaps let you secure both sides to the frame, holding the screen open when you expect frequent traffic or want an unobstructed doorway for a short time. It’s ideal for parties, moving items in and out, or when pets are coming and going continuously.

• Snaps hold sides back to clear the full doorway during events
• Easy to engage and release without tools
• Returns to magnetic closure mode when snaps are released
