attwood Clamp-On LED Navigation Light Kit — Marine Gray, Removable Bow (Red/Green) and Stern (White), Battery-Powered

The attwood 14190-7 is a compact, clamp-on LED navigation light kit that provides removable red/green bow and white stern illumination for small boats and non-12V craft.

When you need compliant navigation lighting but don’t have a permanent 12‑volt system, the attwood 14190-7 delivers a quick, durable solution. This kit includes both bow and stern LED fixtures, removable clamp mounts, and a threaded pole to position lights where required. Its marine-gray housings are low-profile, the lenses are shatter-resistant, and the sealed construction is made to resist splashes and wet conditions. The lights run on three standard AAA batteries each (not included), making them ideal for trailered boats, tenders, inflatables, kayaks, and other small craft requiring temporary navigation lighting.

How does this kit make temporary navigation lighting easy?

Installation is designed to be tool-minimal and fully removable. The quick-release C-clamp mounts hold the lights securely to gunwales or rails, and the threaded pole slips into the clamp for proper bow placement. No wiring or permanent modifications are needed, so you can attach the lights at launch and remove them for storage or trailering.

• Includes bow (red/green) and stern (white) LED fixtures plus clamps and a threaded pole
• Quick-release C-clamps secure to rails up to a typical small-boat thickness
• Removable components mean zero permanent drilling or wiring

What kind of durability and weather resistance does it offer?

The housings are made from sealed composite materials and the lenses from shatter-proof polycarbonate to protect the LEDs and internal electronics from impact and moisture. The overall design is water-resistant for use in marine environments; it’s built to withstand splash, spray, and the occasional wet storage without failing.

• Sealed composite housing prevents water intrusion into electronics
• Shock-proof design helps resist impact damage during handling
• Polycarbonate lenses are shatter-resistant and clear for bright output

How long will the LEDs run and what power do they need?

These efficient LEDs are engineered for extended run times on small batteries. Each light operates from three standard AAA batteries (not included) and the kit is specified to deliver over 150 hours of continuous illumination under typical conditions, making it practical for multi‑weekend use without frequent battery swaps.

• Runs on three AAA batteries per light (user-supplied)
• Highly efficient LEDs for extended 150+ hour runtime under normal use
• Simple battery access for fast replacement at the dock or shore

Will these lights meet small-craft navigation needs?

The attwood 14190-7 package supplies the standard red/green bow and white stern configuration commonly required for small, non‑powered or temporarily-equipped vessels. While designed for short-term and removable use, the kit offers the visible districts and mounting options small-boat operators need to stay seen after dark.

• Includes correct red/green bow and white stern light pair for small craft
• Low-profile marine-gray finish blends with many boat styles
• Ideal for tenders, inflatables, kayaks, and trailered boats needing temporary lighting

Who is this for? The attwood 14190-7 is aimed at boaters who operate small watercraft without built-in 12V systems and need dependable, easy-to-install navigation lighting. It suits owners of dinghies, inflatables, kayaks, jon boats, and trailered craft who want a removable, battery-powered solution that’s tough enough for marine use and simple enough to deploy when you launch and stow away when you’re done. If you want lightweight, no‑wiring navigation lights with long battery life and rugged construction, this kit is a practical choice.
