Arm & Hammer Naturals Clumping Cat Litter - Multi-Cat 18 lb, Plant-Fiber, Low-Dust Odor Control

ARM & HAMMER Naturals Clumping Cat Litter Multi-Cat 18 lb is a plant-fiber clumping litter that absorbs and neutralizes multi-cat odors quickly while staying low-dust and lightweight.

Built for households with more than one feline, this formula blends natural corn fibers, a plant-based clumper, and ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda to trap moisture, form easy scoops, and neutralize odors on contact. It’s designed to be lighter and less dusty than traditional clay litters, yet still create firm clumps for fast cleaning. The composition focuses on absorbency and odor management without relying solely on heavy minerals, making handling and disposal simpler.

How does this litter handle strong multi-cat odors?

This litter combines baking soda with plant-derived fibers and targeted odor neutralizers to attack smells as they form, rather than just masking them. In busy litter boxes the mix helps reduce lingering ammonia and other typical cat-box odors for longer between full changes.

• ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda neutralizes odors instantly.
• Plant extracts and natural corn fibers trap and lock in smells.
• Formulation tuned for multiple cats to reduce frequency of odor complaints.

Will it clump reliably and make scooping easier?

Yes — the plant-based clumping agent forms compact, lightweight clumps that are simple to scoop without excessive breakage. The clumps stay intact so you remove waste cleanly and leave the remaining litter in the box ready for ongoing use.

• Forms small, firm clumps for quick removal.
• Low-dust particles reduce mess when scooping or pouring.
• Clumping promotes longer usable life per fill compared to non-clumping plant litters.

Is this litter easier to handle and store than traditional clay litters?

The Naturals formula is roughly half the weight of comparable clay litters, which makes lifting, carrying, and pouring less strenuous. Lower dust production also keeps storage areas and scoops cleaner, and reduces airborne particles around the box and in your home.

• Approximately 50% lighter than many clay options.
• Low-dust formula minimizes tracking and residue on floors.
• Easy-to-pour granules for fast refills without heavy bags.

What practical steps should I follow when switching my cats to this litter?

Introduce the new litter gradually by mixing increasing amounts with your current brand over several days to a week to allow cats to adjust. Keep the box clean and maintain the same location so cats recognize and accept the new texture and scent more readily.

• Start with a 25/75 new-to-old mix, increasing to 50/50, then 75/25, then full switch.
• Scoop daily and replace the full litter per your household’s usage pattern.
• Maintain multiple boxes for multi-cat homes to encourage consistent use.
