Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer Double Duty, 6‑Pack of 20 oz — Baking Soda Crystals for Up to 9 Days of Odor Control

ARM & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer Double Duty is a baking-soda crystal formula that reduces litter-box odors on contact and keeps the area smelling fresher for up to nine days.

Keep the room around your cat’s litter box more pleasant with a simple daily sprinkle. This Double Duty version uses ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda Crystals to neutralize urine and feces odors instead of just masking them, and it’s designed to work with crystal, clay, scoopable, scented, unscented, and natural litters. The six-pack supply of 20 oz cans is convenient for households with multiple boxes or for stocking up, helping you maintain a fresher home without extra effort.

How does this deodorizer reduce strong litter-box smells?

The formula relies on baking soda crystals that absorb and neutralize odor molecules when sprinkled into the litter. It doesn’t simply add fragrance; it targets the compounds that cause the typical ammonia and fecal smells from a litter box.

• Baking-soda crystals trap and neutralize odor molecules.
• Acts on contact with urine and feces for immediate effect.
• Lab-tested to show lower odor levels versus litter alone.

How do I use this product with different types of litter?

Using Arm & Hammer Double Duty is straightforward: sprinkle a light, even layer across fresh litter and add a little each day after scooping to maintain effectiveness. It is compatible with a wide range of litter materials and won’t interfere with their performance when used as directed.

• Works with clay, crystal, scoopable, scented, unscented, and natural litters.
• Apply to fresh litter, then sprinkle daily for continuous control.
• No special mixing or pre-treatment required—just sprinkle and go.

Will it affect my cat or change litter texture?

The product is formulated for safe daily use around cats when the directions are followed, and the crystals are designed not to significantly alter litter texture or clumping performance. Most cats tolerate the deodorizer fine, but observe your pet if they show unusual sensitivity to new products.

• Safe for daily household use around cats when used as directed.
• Minimal impact on litter feel and scoopability for typical litters.
• If your cat reacts, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.

How long will a single application keep a box fresh?

Lab testing indicates that using this deodorizer can keep a litter box noticeably fresher for up to nine days compared with using litter alone, though actual results depend on box size, number of cats, and cleaning habits. Regular scooping and a light daily sprinkle help maintain the best results.

• Proven odor control performance measured up to nine days in lab tests.
• Effectiveness varies with litter amount, cat count, and scooping frequency.
• Daily maintenance sprinkles extend freshness between full litter changes.
