aosu 5MP Ultra HD Video Doorbell Camera — 166° Wide-Angle, AI Triple-Sensor, 60-Day Local Recording

The aosu 5MP Ultra HD Video Doorbell combines a 166° wide-angle lens, AI-powered triple-sensor detection, and built-in 60-day loop recording for reliable doorstep monitoring without mandatory subscriptions.

Whether you want a simple battery-powered install or a continuously powered wired setup, the aosu doorbell delivers detailed video, fewer false alerts, and seamless local storage via the included aosuBase Mini. It pairs with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice convenience and is rated IP66 to withstand rain, wind, and temperature changes. Ideal for homeowners and renters who want crisp head-to-toe footage of visitors, package detection, and flexible recording options.

How sharp and wide is the camera view?

The doorbell records in 5MP Ultra HD using a 7-piece optical glass lens for clearer facial and package detail than standard 2–3MP units. The 166° field of view and 4:3 vertical framing prioritize full head-to-toe captures and ground-level coverage, helping you see both people and parcels without blind spots.

• 5MP resolution for finer facial and object details
• 7-piece optical glass lens for improved clarity and light handling
• 166° wide-angle plus 4:3 vertical framing to capture entire visitors and packages
• Better night and low-light performance compared with lower-resolution models

How does the aosu doorbell reduce false alerts?

It uses a triple-sensor system—radar, PIR infrared, and AI human recognition—to distinguish real human activity from environmental triggers like insects or swaying branches. You can set custom detection zones so the system focuses only on important areas, reducing unnecessary notifications while keeping critical alerts active.

• Radar sensor for motion vector detection and distance awareness
• PIR infrared to detect heat signatures from people and animals
• AI human recognition to filter out non-human motion events
• Customizable detection zones to ignore driveways, roads, or nearby trees

What storage and subscription options are available?

The included aosuBase Mini has 8GB of built-in memory and supports 60-day loop recording without any subscription fees, so recorded footage stays local and accessible. If you want extended cloud retention or advanced AI features, optional cloud plans are offered, but they are not required to use the doorbell’s core features.

• 8GB internal storage on aosuBase Mini for continuous, looped recording
• 60-day retention cycle managed locally—no subscription needed
• Real-time alerts, two-way audio, and playback from local storage
• Optional cloud plans available for longer retention and extra AI tools

How flexible is installation and daily operation?

The doorbell supports both wireless battery operation for easy, no-wiring installs and wired power for ongoing, maintenance-free performance. With IP66 weather resistance and smart home compatibility, it adapts to many homes and delivers consistent alerts through Alexa and Google Assistant integrations.

• Dual power design: battery for quick installs or wired for continuous use
• IP66-rated weatherproofing for outdoor reliability year-round
• Two-way audio for live conversations with visitors or delivery drivers
• Works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control and notifications

Who is this for: Homeowners, renters, and small-business owners who want clear, reliable doorstep surveillance without being locked into monthly fees. The aosu 5MP doorbell suits anyone who needs head-to-toe visitor views, smarter motion detection to cut down false alarms, and flexible installation choices—whether you prefer a quick wireless setup or a wired, always-on solution. It’s especially useful for people tracking package deliveries, watching high-traffic entryways, or integrating video alerts with an existing smart home.
