AOBEN 6-inch Dual Action Car Polisher – 700W Variable Speed 1000–4500 RPM, 4 Pads & Detachable Handle

The AOBEN 6-inch dual action car buffer polisher is a variable-speed, random-orbit kit designed to polish, wax, and remove light paint defects while protecting surfaces from swirl marks.

This compact 700W, 120V polisher delivers a copper-motion random orbital action across six adjustable speed settings (1000–4500 rpm), letting you tailor power for waxing, polishing, or defect removal. The kit ships with one 6" backing plate, three foam pads and a synthetic wool pad, plus an ergonomic handle option to reduce fatigue during extended detailing sessions. Its safety features and heat-insulating head shell make it suitable for DIY car care, boat surfaces, furniture refinishing and light metal polishing.

How does the adjustable speed range help different detailing tasks?

The 6-speed control lets you match rotation to the task: low speeds for gentle waxing, medium speeds for polishing and cleaning, and higher speeds for addressing oxidation or light paint defects. If excessive pressure stalls the motor at lower speeds, shifting to a higher speed restores performance and prevents motor strain.

• 1000–1800 rpm: safe waxing and light buffing
• 1800–3200 rpm: polishing and removing light swirl marks
• 3200–4500 rpm: faster cutting for oxidation and defects
• Auto-stop under heavy pressure at low speeds to protect motor

What makes the dual action random orbital motion beneficial?

The random orbital (copper-motion) action reduces heat concentration and avoids repeating paths that create swirls. That orbit pattern spreads contact across the pad, increasing coverage and lowering the risk of burning or holograms on paint when used correctly.

• Random orbit minimizes visible polish trails
• Enlarged polishing area speeds up detailing work
• Gentler on clear coats compared with rotary polishers
• Compatible with foam and synthetic wool pads for different finishes

How user-friendly and ergonomic is the AOBEN polisher?

Ergonomic design includes a detachable side handle that mounts on either side, plus a top handle for different grip styles and better control. The plastic head shell insulates heat during high-strength operation and the overall balanced weight helps reduce wrist and arm fatigue.

• Detachable side handle installs left or right
• Top handle for two-handed, steady control
• Lightweight 5.29 lb body for comfortable use
• Heat-insulating head shell for safer long runs

What does the kit include and which surfaces can it treat?

The set supplies a 6-inch backing plate, three foam pads, a synthetic wool polishing pad, a wrench and a user manual, so you can start polishing right away. It's suited for cars, boats, furniture, piano finishes, flooring and light metal surfaces when using the correct pad and compound.

• 1 x AOBEN car polisher (model AT3501) with 65" backing plate
• 3 x 6.5" foam pads and 1 x synthetic wool pad included
• Wrench and manual for safe pad changes
• Works on automotive paint, gelcoat, wood finishes and metal

Who this is for: The AOBEN 6-inch dual action polisher suits vehicle owners, DIY detailers and hobby woodworkers who want a versatile, budget-friendly tool for regular maintenance and light correction. If you need a multi-speed buffer that balances coverage with safety—offering foam and wool pads, a comfortable grip layout, and a random orbital action to minimize swirl—you'll find this kit helpful for extending the life of painted and finished surfaces with routine polishing and waxing.
