ANWA 32" Sisal Cat Scratching Post — 32-inch Beige Vertical Scratcher with Weighted Base & Toys

This compact yet tall beige scratching post wraps a solid central column in 100% natural sisal fiber and sits on a reinforced heavy chipboard base with a cozy flannel cover. Built for kittens through adult cats, the design combines a reliable scratching surface with three playful attachments so your cat can scratch, bat, and lounge in one tidy footprint.

How does this post keep my furniture safe?

The vertical sisal column gives cats a purpose-built surface to file and mark claws, which redirects scratching away from sofas and curtains. Its 32" height lets cats fully extend and stretch vertically, meeting their natural behavior without resorting to household items.

• 100% natural sisal resists wear better than carpet-wrapped posts
• Vertical orientation satisfies full-body stretching
• Reinforced heavy chipboard base reduces tipping and toppling

Is the post stable enough for active or large cats?

Yes — the post's base is a heavy chipboard platform covered in soft flannel that adds weight and grip. The simple, solid build minimizes wobble even during vigorous scratching and jumping, so adult cats can use it safely.

• Weighted base for increased stability
• Compact 15.7" x 15.7" footprint balances support and space savings
• Flannel cover creates a comfortable resting spot on the base

What playful features come with the scratching post?

ANWA added three engaging toys: a dangling plush ball at the top, a mid-level dangling mouse, and a spring-mounted plush ball on the base. These toys encourage batting, jumping, and pouncing, extending the post’s appeal well beyond simple scratching.

• Top plush ball entices climbing and swatting
• Middle mouse appeals to natural stalking instincts
• Spring ball on base provides unpredictable movement for chase play

How easy is assembly and maintenance?

The post ships with clear assembly instructions and an Allen key; you can put it together in a few minutes with basic hand tools. The natural sisal surface is durable and spot-cleanable, while the flannel base can be wiped or vacuumed to remove fur and debris.

• Quick screw-and-twist assembly — takes minutes
• Spot-clean sisal and wipe flannel base
• Replacement parts or DIY rewraps easy thanks to straightforward design
