Anthony's Organic Cocoa Powder 2 lb — Unsweetened, Non-GMO & Gluten Free

Anthony's Organic Cocoa Powder is a dark, unsweetened, non-alkalized cocoa ideal for baking, beverages, and DIY beauty projects.

Harvested from South American cacao and finely ground to a rich, chocolatey powder, this 2 lb bag from Anthony's delivers pure cocoa flavor with 10–12% natural cocoa butter. It is certified organic, non-GMO, and batch-tested gluten free, making it a versatile pantry staple for home bakers, plant-based cooks, and anyone wanting intense chocolate taste without added sugar or processing agents.

How does Anthony's Organic Cocoa Powder affect the flavor and texture of baked goods?

The powder contributes a deep chocolate aroma and slightly bitter, authentic cocoa taste that pairs well with sweeteners and dairy or plant milks. Because it retains 10–12% cocoa butter, it adds a touch of richness and mouthfeel without the heaviness of cocoa butter–rich chocolate chips or bars.

• Deep, natural chocolate flavor—unsweetened and non-alkalized
• 10–12% fat content enhances moistness and tenderness
• Works well in cakes, cookies, brownies, and frostings
• Balances with sugar or sweeteners for desired sweetness

Can I use this cocoa powder in drinks, smoothies, and coffee?

Yes — Anthony's cocoa blends easily into hot or cold beverages for a bold chocolate boost. Stir into coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies, or milk alternatives; for the smoothest results, whisk into a small amount of warm liquid before adding the rest.

• Perfect for hot chocolate, mocha lattes, and protein shakes
• Dissolves well when pre-mixed into a paste or warm liquid
• Unsweetened base lets you control sweetness and flavor
• Non-alkalized for a brighter, more nuanced cocoa taste

Is Anthony's Organic Cocoa Powder suitable for special diets and DIY products?

This cocoa powder fits many dietary preferences: organic, non-GMO, unsweetened, and verified gluten free. Beyond the kitchen, the cocoa's aroma and pigment make it a pleasant ingredient in homemade soaps, scrubs, and other cosmetic recipes when formulated appropriately.

• Compatible with vegan, paleo, raw, and gluten-free recipes
• Unsweetened and non-alkalized for clean ingredient lists
• Great for culinary and non-food DIY uses like scrubs and soaps
• 2 lb packaging is economical for frequent home use

How should I store and measure this cocoa powder for best results?

Keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry place away from strong odors to preserve aroma and flavor. Use a spoon for scooping and gently level when measuring; for recipes that call for sifted cocoa, pass through a fine sieve to remove clumps.

• Store in airtight container after opening to retain freshness
• Keep away from heat, light, and moisture
• Sift or whisk to eliminate clumps before adding to batters
• 2 lb size suits regular bakers and small-scale recipe makers
