Andis 04780 T-Outliner Professional Corded Beard & Hair Trimmer — Carbon-Steel T-Blade, High-Torque Motor

The Andis 04780 Professional T-Outliner is a corded, high-torque beard and hair trimmer built for ultra-close T-blade detailing and long-lasting performance.

This compact, salon-grade trimmer combines a powerful rotary motor, durable carbon-steel T-blades and an 8-foot heavy-duty cord to deliver consistent, bump-free trimming for hairlines, beards, sideburns and mustaches. Designed for home barbers and professionals alike, the T-Outliner balances raw cutting power with fine control so you can shape sharp edges, touch up stubble, or maintain a clean neckline without tugging or overheating.

How does the Andis T-Outliner give a closer, bump-free finish?

The T-Outliner uses diamond-finished carbon T-blades engineered for zero overlap and a super-close cut. That blade geometry trims hair at skin level while minimizing friction and irritation for a smooth result even on coarse hair.

• Diamond-finished carbon-steel T-blades for extended sharpness
• Zero-overlap cutting reduces drag and prevents razor bumps
• Precision T shape enables crisp lines along beards and hairlines

What power and durability features support long, heavy use?

A high-torque magnetic rotary motor drives the blades with consistent speed under load, so the trimmer resists stalling while cutting dense hair. The integrated 8-foot cord and robust housing are built for repeated daily use at home or in busy shop settings.

• High-torque motor for steady cutting performance
• 8-foot heavy-duty cord and hanger loop for convenient storage
• Sturdy construction and parts designed for long-term availability

Can I use this trimmer for multiple grooming tasks?

Yes—the T-Outliner is intended as an all-in-one detailing tool for hair, beard, mustache, sideburns and body touch-ups. Its T-blade profile excels at outlining, tapering and close dry trims while remaining easy to maneuver for fine work.

• Ideal for edging, outlining, and refining facial hair shapes
• Works well for dry shaving and precise detailing
• Compact size fits in travel kits for on-the-go touch-ups

What maintenance and sizing details should I expect?

The trimmer ships with a locked-in T-blade ready for use and requires routine cleaning and oiling to maintain peak performance. It measures roughly 1.75 x 1.5 x 5.25 inches and weighs about 11.2 ounces—small enough for precise control yet substantial enough for steady handling.

• Compact dimensions and lightweight body for controlled styling
• Blade oiling and occasional cleaning improve blade life
• Alloy steel T-blade with hanger loop for storage and travel
