AMOSIJOY Wooden Cat Windowsill Perch 21.7in — Zip-Off Plush Cushion, Supports up to 40 lb

AMOSIJOY's 21.7-inch wooden windowsill perch with a zip-off plush cushion gives cats a safe, warm vantage point for sunbathing and birdwatching.

This AMOSIJOY sill-mounted cat bed combines a sturdy wooden frame, widened metal hooks, and a removable fluffy cushion so your cat can relax at the window without drilling, suction cups, or complicated hardware. It’s engineered to sit on most window sills and other flat ledges, supporting heavy cats up to 40 pounds while letting owners remove the cover quickly for washing.

How does this window perch stay in place without drilling?

The perch uses two metal hooks that rest over the top of the window sill and two wooden supports beneath the sill to distribute weight evenly. Thumb screws allow simple adjustment of hook distance so the unit fits a range of sill thicknesses without tools.

• Widened metal hooks increase contact area to protect the sill surface.
• Two wooden support legs brace against the underside of the sill for stable support.
• Thumb screws make distance adjustments quick—no wrench or drill required.

What comfort features does the cushion bed provide?

The cushion is made with plush fabric and a cotton inner layer to create a warm, soft sleeping surface that invites cats to curl up. The cover attaches with Velcro and zips off, so you can remove and launder it without disassembling the frame.

• Thickened fluffy cover for insulation and softness.
• Zip and Velcro design for easy removal and washing.
• Low-profile edge to let cats rest with clear sightlines out the window.

Is this perch strong enough for larger cats and active behavior?

The frame uses thickened wood combined with durable metal supports, designed to hold up to 40 pounds when installed correctly. The broader hook contact and reinforced supports reduce pressure points, improving overall stability when cats jump on or reposition themselves.

• Thick wooden frame resists bending under load.
• Metal hardware and reinforced supports for active movement.
• Tested load capacity suitable for most single large cats or two small cats.

Where else can I place this perch besides a windowsill?

While optimized for windows, the perch fits other flat ledges like bedside tables, dressers, and cabinet tops—anywhere your cat likes a high, warm lookout. Its compact footprint and removable cover make it flexible for temporary placement or relocation around the home.

• Bedside or dresser use keeps cat hair off bedding while offering proximity to you.
• Cabinet or shelf placement for vertical space utilization.
• Quick relocation because no permanent fixtures are required.

It’s a practical option for households with larger cats, renters who cannot drill, or anyone who prefers easy-to-clean soft bedding and tool-free installation.
