Ally Peaks Pull-Up Bar for Doorway — Width & Depth Adjustable, 500 lb Steel, Silicone Protectors

Designed for apartments, home gyms and offices, this doorway pull up bar from Ally Peaks fits a broad range of standard doorways without permanent installation. It combines a telescoping, multi-level width adjustment with two depth settings so the bar can be positioned precisely on narrow or wide frames. Protective silicone interfaces and removable no-trace pads reduce wear to trim while high-density foam grips keep your hands comfortable during sets.

How does the adjustable design fit different doorways?

The pull up bar uses a real adjustable-width system with five width positions and two thickness positions to adapt to doorframes from about 21.65" to 39.37" wide and depths of 4.7"–8.27". This lets you mount it on recessed or corner-framed openings without drilling. The mechanism locks securely so the bar stays stable under load.

• Five distinct width settings for precise placement
• Two depth settings to match doorframe thickness
• Accepts trim heights up to 3.75" with no permanent mounting
• Tool-free install and removal for portable use

Is it durable and safe enough for heavy use?

Built from 1.7mm-thick chrome steel tubing with a double-pipe overlapped structure, this bar is engineered to support up to 500 pounds. Lock nuts secure the assembly and the fine powder coating resists rust and chipping for longer service life. Always tug down on the grips before starting sets to confirm a secure fit.

• 1.7mm thick chrome steel and double-pipe construction
• Rated 500 lb maximum weight capacity
• Locking nuts reduce the chance of loosening during use
• Powder-coated finish for corrosion protection

How does the Ally Peaks bar protect my door frame?

Rather than thin foam that breaks down, this model uses elastic silicone where the bar contacts wood or paint, plus two removable 4mm no-trace silicone pads for added cushioning. The silicone conforms to the frame and handles repeated upward and downward forces during exercise without tearing, helping to minimize marks and distribute pressure.

• Elastic silicone contact surfaces for durable protection
• Two removable 4mm no-trace silicone pads included
• Double-silicone approach reduces frictional wear to trim

What exercises can I do with this doorway chin-up bar?

This bar supports multiple upper-body and core moves, making your doorway a compact strength station. Use it for traditional pull-ups and chin-ups, or remove and reposition to perform push-up handles, dips, and hanging core work. The variety shortens workout time and increases training efficiency at home or the office.

• Standard pull-ups and chin-ups for back and biceps
• Dips and hanging knee raises for triceps and core
• Push-up handle placement for chest and shoulders
• Quick setup for intermittent workouts throughout the day

Who is this for: The Ally Peaks Pull Up Bar suits athletes, busy professionals, and apartment dwellers who need a non-permanent, heavy-duty solution for upper-body and core training. It’s ideal if you want a robust, adjustable bar that protects door trim, supports a wide weight range, and converts ordinary doorways into effective workout stations without tools or permanent fixtures.
