AKASO Brave 4 Action Camera 4K30 Dual Screens Waterproof 40m Image Stabilization

The AKASO Brave 4 is a compact 4K30 action camera with dual screens, image stabilization and a waterproof housing rated to 40 meters for shooting adventures on land and underwater.

Designed for outdoor enthusiasts and content creators, the Brave 4 captures 4K video at 30fps and 20MP photos while offering wireless connectivity, HDMI output and user-friendly controls. It combines a wide-angle lens with a built-in gyroscope to reduce shake and a rugged waterproof case so you can film surfing, snorkeling, cycling and everyday action without missing details.

How clear are the videos and photos from this camera?

The Brave 4 records up to 4K at 30 frames per second and shoots 20MP stills, delivering crisp footage and high-resolution images suitable for social sharing or quick edits. Multiple lower-resolution modes are available for longer recording times and smoother playback.

• 4K 30fps for high-detail video capture
• 1080P 60fps option for smooth slow motion
• 20MP photos for large prints or cropping
• Selectable resolutions to extend battery life and storage

How does stabilization and the adjustable view angle affect footage?

The camera uses a smart gyroscope to minimize shake, producing steadier, more watchable clips during fast movement. You can choose from four field-of-view settings to control how much scene is captured — useful for sports, vlogging or focused shots.

• Built-in image stabilization for smoother handheld footage
• 170°, 140°, 110° and 70° view-angle options for framing control
• Improved clarity in action scenes and panning shots
• Better results when paired with steady mounting or accessories

Can I use the Brave 4 underwater and share videos easily?

Yes — place the camera inside the supplied waterproof case and it becomes dive-ready to 40 meters (131 feet). For sharing, Wi‑Fi lets you transfer files to the AKASO app within roughly 10 meters, and HDMI lets you play footage on a TV.

• Waterproof case for dives up to 40 meters (131 feet)
• Wi‑Fi connection for quick phone transfers and remote control
• HDMI port for direct playback on larger screens
• Front and rear screens to compose selfies and monitor recording

What accessories and battery life are included?

The kit comes with practical mounts and a dual USB charger plus two 1050mAh batteries to extend shooting time. Each battery records around 90 minutes under normal conditions, and accessories are optimized for biking and motorcycling mounts.

• Two rechargeable 1050mAh batteries (≈90 minutes each)
• USB dual charger to top up batteries quickly
• Accessory mounts compatible with many action cameras, including GoPro-style mounts
• Remote wristband included (note: wristband is not waterproof)
