Airmax Stock Tank Defense Livestock Water Trough Cleaner Tablets, 24-Pack — 150 gal, Enzymes & Beneficial Bacteria

Airmax Stock Tank Defense delivers dissolvable bacterial tablets that break down organic debris and keep livestock water troughs clear and drinkable.

Maintaining clean water in outdoor stock tanks and troughs can be time-consuming and messy. Airmax Stock Tank Defense offers an easy, low-effort approach: single-use tablets formulated with beneficial bacteria and enzymes that target algae, sludge, and organic buildup in freshwater containers. Designed for tanks up to 150 gallons, the tablets dissolve on contact and help restore a balanced microbial environment so animals have clearer water between manual cleanings.

How do these tablets work in my stock tank?

The tablets introduce non-pathogenic, beneficial bacteria and enzymes that accelerate the breakdown of organic matter such as manure, plant debris, and biofilm. They don't rely on harsh chemicals; instead they enhance the natural biodegradation processes already present in water systems.

• Releases targeted bacteria and enzymes upon dissolution
• Breaks down organic films, sludge, and algae over time
• Safe for routine use in untreated freshwater systems
• Recommended when water temperature is consistently above 50°F

How often should I apply a tablet to my trough?

Application frequency depends on tank size and organic load but is simple to follow: one tablet per tank (up to 150 gallons) every one to two weeks or after performing a full water change. In warmer months or with heavy animal traffic, you may need to increase frequency within the suggested range for best results.

• Standard dosing: one tablet per 150-gallon tank
• Use every 1–2 weeks or after water changes
• Increase frequency in warm weather or high-usage tanks
• Do not exceed recommended dosing; follow label instructions

Are these tablets safe for my animals and the environment?

Airmax tablets use naturally occurring, non-harmful bacterial strains and enzymes intended to improve water quality without introducing toxic chemicals. They are labeled for use around a wide range of farm animals and wildlife when applied according to directions.

• Formulated to be non-toxic for livestock, poultry, and wildlife
• No bleach, copper, or harsh oxidizers in the formula
• Supports a healthier microbial balance rather than sterilizing water
• Follow manufacturer guidance for safe handling and storage

What practical results can I expect after using Stock Tank Defense?

Within days to weeks you should notice reduced surface scum, clearer water, and less sediment buildup, which eases routine maintenance and can reduce the frequency of full cleanouts. Results vary by tank conditions, organic load, and temperature, but consistent application keeps tanks in better condition between manual cleanings.

• Visible reduction in algae and scum over several treatments
• Less frequent need for full draining and scrubbing
• Improved clarity and reduced odors in many cases
• Works best when combined with routine water checks and occasional manual cleaning

Who is this for? Airmax Stock Tank Defense is aimed at farmers, ranchers, equestrians, and anyone managing outdoor livestock or wildlife watering stations who wants a low-effort way to maintain clearer water. It's a practical tool for stalls, pastures, smallholding ponds, bird and poultry waterers, and any freshwater trough up to 150 gallons where organic buildup and algae are recurring issues. Use it as part of a regular maintenance routine—especially in warm seasons—to reduce manual cleaning time and help keep water accessible and visually cleaner for animals.
