AIRHEAD Infant Life Jacket 15–30 lb Blue — USCG Type II, molded headrest & crotch strap

Airhead's infant life jacket is a US Coast Guard–approved, Type II flotation vest designed to keep babies (15–30 lb) buoyant, visible, and comfortably secure during water activities.

Built for families who spend time on lakes, boats, or pools, this infant life jacket combines a rugged 200-denier polyester outer shell with lightweight Poly-E foam inside to deliver dependable flotation without excessive bulk. Bright primary colors and a molded headrest improve visibility and help support a small child's head. The jacket uses multiple buckles, a crotch strap, and a closed-sided shape to reduce ride-up and keep the vest positioned properly on tiny bodies.

How does the vest keep an infant secure in the water?

The design centers on a closed-sided torso with three side-clipping buckles and an adjustable crotch strap that prevents the jacket from shifting upward. A molded headrest adds extra support for a small child's head and neck while the rescue handle provides a convenient grab point for caregivers.

• Closed-sided flotation for stable positioning
• Three side buckles for a snug, adjustable fit
• Crotch strap to prevent ride-up
• Integrated headrest and rescue handle for support and quick retrieval

What safety standards and materials are used?

This infant vest meets US Coast Guard Type II life jacket requirements and is constructed with durable, UV-resistant 200D polyester on the exterior for abrasion and sun protection. Inside, lightweight Poly-E foam provides buoyancy designed to assist soon-to-be-swimmers without overly restricting movement.

• USCG-approved Type II standard
• 200-denier polyester shell for durability and sun resistance
• Poly-E flotation foam for reliable lift and low weight
• High-visibility color options to aid spotting on water

How should I choose the correct size and use it safely?

Select the infant size intended for children weighing 15–30 pounds and follow USCG fitting guidance: vest should not ride up over the chin or ears when lifted. Always fasten all buckles and the crotch strap and keep children within arm’s reach while in or near water for supervision beyond flotation alone.

• Size range: infants 15–30 lb (follow weight label)
• Check fit by lifting child at shoulders—vest should stay snug
• Fasten all buckles and crotch strap before entering water
• Continue active adult supervision; life jacket is an aid, not a substitute

What practical features help families on the water?

The jacket’s bright blue (or red) coloring improves visibility from a distance, which is helpful on crowded waterways. Lightweight construction reduces bulk for infants, and the rescue handle plus easy side clips make putting the vest on and retrieving a child faster and simpler.

• High-visibility colors for easier spotting
• Lightweight foam reduces strain on small bodies
• Rescue handle for quick grabs during retrieval
• Simple side-clips speed dressing and undressing
