AIRDOCTOR Replacement Activated Carbon/VOC Filter for AD3000 & AD3500 — Premium Carbon with Attached Pre-Filter, 6-Month Life

This is the genuine AIRDOCTOR replacement Premium Activated Carbon/VOC filter with an attached pre-filter, engineered to fit AirDoctor AD3000 and AD3500 units and reduce gases, odors, VOCs and smoke for up to six months under normal use.

If your AirDoctor AD3000 or AD3500 needs a fresh Carbon/VOC stage, this OEM filter combines activated carbon and a chemical treatment to capture and neutralize many airborne gases and smells while the attached pre-filter traps larger particles. It pairs with the unit’s UltraHEPA stage to deliver the layered purification AirDoctor systems are known for; follow safety steps—turn off and unplug the purifier—before swapping filters to ensure proper installation and reset of the unit.

How does this replacement filter handle odors and household gases?

This Premium Activated Carbon/VOC filter uses high-adsorption carbon plus a reactive media to capture and break down common indoor gases and odorous molecules instead of simply masking them. It is designed as the gas/chemistry stage in the AirDoctor system to work alongside the UltraHEPA element.

• Activated carbon adsorbs smoke, cooking and pet odors.
• Chemical media targets VOCs such as formaldehyde, toluene, benzene.
• Reduces ozone and nitrogen dioxide that can appear indoors.
• Works continuously for up to six months under typical household use.

Will this filter fit my AirDoctor AD3000 or AD3500 unit?

Yes—this is a genuine AirDoctor replacement specifically manufactured for the AD3000 and AD3500 models. It installs in place of the previous Carbon/VOC cartridge and comes with an attached pre-filter for a straightforward swap.

• Factory-made to match AD3000 and AD3500 dimensions and seals.
• Includes pre-filter to catch hair and large particles before the carbon stage.
• Instructions: unplug unit, remove cover, replace cartridge, reset filter indicator.
• Compatible with the AirDoctor system’s UltraHEPA for layered filtration.

How long does one filter last and how do I maintain it?

Under normal residential conditions this Carbon/VOC filter provides effective odor and gas control for about six months; replacement frequency depends on local pollutant levels and continuous runtime. Keep the pre-filter clear of visible debris and replace the carbon/VOC cartridge at the recommended interval for optimal performance.

• Typical service life: ~6 months (carbon/VOC stage).
• Pre-filter is attached—inspect and clean or replace if heavily soiled.
• For full yearly upkeep, pair with the UltraHEPA replacement schedule.
• Reset the unit’s filter light after installing the new cartridge.

If you own an AirDoctor AD3000 or AD3500 and want authentic, manufacturer-specified performance for gas, smoke and odor control, this genuine Premium Activated Carbon/VOC filter with attached pre-filter provides a direct-fit solution. It’s aimed at homeowners, offices, classrooms or any indoor space where smells and airborne gases are a concern and where maintaining the AirDoctor’s designed filtration cascade matters.
