AGYM 32-Inch Sisal Cat Scratching Post for Indoor Cats, Beige — Stable Wide-Base, Solid Wood

This beige vertical scratching post combines heavy-duty, all-natural sisal with a wide, low-profile wooden base to give adult and large-breed cats a satisfying place to sharpen claws, stretch, and play. Designed to stay upright during energetic scratching sessions, the AGYM post helps redirect destructive behavior from upholstery and curtains while keeping shed fibers contained — unlike disposable cardboard pads.

How will this scratching post stop my cat from ruining furniture?

The AGYM post offers an appealing texture and vertical surface that meets cats' instinctive need to scratch and stretch. Placing it near problem zones encourages cats to use the post instead of sofas or drapes.

• 100% natural sisal rope provides a firm, claw-friendly surface cats prefer.
• Tall 32-inch height allows full-body stretches that reduce furniture-targeted scratching.
• Stable 15" x 13.8" wooden base prevents tipping during vigorous use.
• Beige finish blends subtly into living spaces so it can sit close to frequently damaged spots.

Is this post sturdy enough for large or heavy cats?

The design focuses on durability and balance to handle adult and large-breed cats. Thick sisal wrapping over a solid wooden core and a broad base reduce wobble and provide a dependable scratching surface.

• Solid wood construction under the sisal for long-term strength.
• Wide base footprint for improved stability during full-body stretches.
• Quality screws and included tools tighten connections for secure assembly.

How easy is assembly, and what comes in the box?

AGYM includes the hardware and a screwdriver so most people can set the post up in minutes. The parts are few and the steps are straightforward: attach the posts to the base, secure the top plank, and tighten each screw.

• All screws and fittings included plus a basic screwdriver.
• Clear instructions for a quick, tool-light install.
• Compact package that’s simple to unpack and place where your cat prefers to scratch.

How does the material compare to cardboard or fabric scratchers?

Sisal and wood offer a firmer, longer-lasting surface than corrugated cardboard or soft fabric, resisting shredding and keeping mess to a minimum. The natural fiber texture is more satisfying for many cats and stands up better to repeated use.

• All-natural sisal resists shredding and does not leave paper debris on floors.
• Non-toxic construction safe for curious cats who chew or bite occasionally.
• Wood base adds weight and durability compared with lightweight alternatives.

Who this is for: AGYM’s 32-inch sisal scratching post is ideal for owners of indoor adult and large cats who need a long-lasting vertical scratch solution to protect furniture. It suits households that want a low-maintenance, natural-material option that installs quickly and stays put during active play. If you need a taller, sturdier post than tabletop pads or short loungers, this post is built to meet those needs while blending unobtrusively into living areas.
