Aerostar pleated MERV 13 air filter 16x25x1 — 6-pack, electrostatic synthetic media for HVAC & furnace

Aerostar 16x25x1 MERV 13 pleated air filter, sold as a 6-pack, is a high-efficiency replacement for standard 1" HVAC and furnace filters designed to capture fine airborne particles while maintaining airflow.

These Aerostar filters measure 15 3/4" x 24 3/4" x 3/4" actual size and are built with electrostatically charged synthetic media to draw in small particles from the air stream. Rated at MERV 13 (comparable to MPR 1500–1900 and FPR 10), they provide a step up from basic fiberglass filters without requiring special retrofit work—fitting most residential and light commercial systems that accept a 1-inch filter. The six-pack configuration supplies several months of routine replacements for typical homes.

How does this MERV 13 filter help with everyday indoor air?

MERV 13 media is engineered to trap a wide range of fine particles that ordinary low-efficiency filters miss. That means fewer visible dust buildups on surfaces and reduced circulation of microscopic irritants throughout living spaces.

• Catches particles roughly 0.3–1.0 microns in size, including pollen and fine dust.
• Electrostatic charge improves capture without excessive airflow resistance.
• Pleated synthetic fibers increase surface area for longer use between changes.

Will these filters work with my furnace or central AC?

Yes—these Aerostar 16x25x1 filters are designed for universal compatibility with most standard HVAC and furnace systems that use a 1-inch filter slot. They list common cross-references and comparable filter ratings so you can confirm fit and performance quickly.

• Actual dimensions: 15 3/4" x 24 3/4" x 3/4" for accurate fit verification.
• Comparable to Filtrete MPR 1500–1900 and Honeywell FPR 10 for easy part matching.
• Alternate part numbers included for compatibility checks with existing supplies.

How often should I replace these Aerostar filters?

Filter life depends on system runtime, household occupancy, and seasonal demand. As a general guideline, replace every 60–90 days for normal use, and consider monthly changes during heavy heating or cooling periods when the system runs more continuously.

• Standard recommendation: change every 2–3 months under normal conditions.
• High-use seasons: change monthly for best performance and airflow.
• Inspect visually: replace sooner if heavy dust or reduced airflow appears.

How does this filter affect HVAC performance and maintenance?

A properly matched MERV 13 filter can reduce particle buildup on coils and blower components, helping systems run more efficiently over time. Because the media is designed to retain particles while allowing adequate airflow, routine filter changes support lower maintenance needs and cleaner equipment.

• Reinforced pleats and a durable frame resist collapse and moisture damage.
• Maintains balanced airflow to avoid excessive strain on motors and fans.
• Reduces the frequency of deep-cleaning and component repairs when replaced on schedule.

Who is this for: Homeowners, renters, and light-commercial operators who want an easy upgrade from basic fiberglass filters to a higher-efficiency MERV 13 solution. This six-pack suits households looking for multiple routine replacements, allergy-aware families seeking finer particle removal, and anyone who wants a ready supply for seasonal filter changes. Verify your system accepts a 1-inch filter and compare the actual size provided to ensure a proper fit before purchase.
