Advecta Ultra topical flea and tick treatment for large dogs (21–55 lb) — 4-month supply, waterproof & fast-acting

Advecta Ultra for Large Dogs is a fast-acting, waterproof topical that kills and repels fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and chewing lice while disrupting the flea life cycle for up to 30 days per application.

Designed for dogs weighing 21–55 lbs, Advecta Ultra combines proven active ingredients to provide month-long external protection. This topical drops product is fragrance-free, works on contact (no bite required), and keeps protecting after your dog gets wet once the product has set. It’s presented as a practical, seasonal prevention option for owners who prefer an external treatment over oral pills, and it’s compatible with regular grooming such as combing during flea season.

How quickly does Advecta Ultra start working on fleas and ticks?

Advecta Ultra begins killing and repelling parasites shortly after application through direct contact; you should see effects quickly as fleas and ticks exposed to treated fur are affected without having to bite. The formulation includes multiple active ingredients to address adult fleas, immature stages, and external parasites.

• Fast-acting contact kill for fleas, ticks and mosquitoes
• Breaks the flea life cycle by targeting eggs and larvae
• Month-long activity per application for ongoing management

Is Advecta Ultra waterproof and how should I use it around water?

Yes—this topical is formulated to remain effective after exposure to water, provided you avoid bathing or heavy water exposure for 24 hours after applying. Routine splash or light rain won’t immediately negate protection, but repeated bathing may reduce efficacy and require timely reapplication according to label directions.

• Wait 24 hours after application before swimming or bathing
• Protection persists through light wetting once product has dried
• Follow application schedule to maintain continuous coverage

What parasites does this treatment protect against?

Advecta Ultra protects against a broad spectrum of external parasites: adult fleas, flea eggs and larvae, several species of ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, and chewing lice. Because it addresses multiple life stages, it helps reduce the chance of reinfestation when used regularly during high-risk seasons.

• Kills and repels fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes
• Targets flea eggs and larvae to interrupt lifecycle
• Also effective versus biting flies and chewing lice

How do I apply Advecta Ultra and how often should I repeat treatment?

Apply the topical drops directly to your dog’s skin at the base of the neck and along the back following package directions, taking care not to let the dog lick the application site until dry. Reapply once every 30 days or according to the labeled schedule to maintain continuous protection, and store product safely out of reach of children and pets.

• Apply to dry skin between the shoulder blades and along the spine
• Do not bathe or swim for 24 hours after application
• Repeat monthly for ongoing seasonal prevention
