ACKO 13-inch Folding Step Stool — Black, EN 14183 Certified, 300 lb Capacity, Anti-Slip

The ACKO 13 Inch Folding Step Stool is a compact, EN 14183–certified folding stool that supports up to 300 lb and tucks away flat for easy carrying and storage.

Built from heavy-duty plastic to ACKO standards, this 13" folding step stool combines stability, safety features and portability for everyday household tasks. Rubber tread on the top and anti-slip feet help keep the stool steady on dry, flat surfaces while rounded corners and a safety stop gap increase rigidity — useful for kids and adults alike. The integrated carrying handle makes unfolding and transporting it one-handed and simple, so it’s ready when you need a little extra height.

How stable and safe is this stool for daily use?

The stool was designed with multiple safety features to reduce wobble and slips. EN 14183 certification and factory testing verify structural integrity, and the molded safety stop gap improves rigidity under load.

• Supports up to 300 lb for adult and child use
• Anti-slip rubber feet prevent sliding on dry, flat floors
• Textured grip-dot surface reduces foot slippage
• Rounded corners to minimize impact injuries

How easy is it to carry, fold, and store?

The ACKO step stool folds flat and reveals an ergonomic handle that lets you lift and carry it with one hand. Folding and unfolding happen quickly, making it convenient for frequent use and compact storage in closets or car trunks.

• One-hand folding action via integrated handle
• Folds flat to save space in cabinets or under seats
• Lightweight plastic design for easy transport
• Handle placement allows children to move it independently

Where can I safely use this step stool around the home or outdoors?

The step stool is suited to many environments as long as it’s placed on dry, level ground and kept within suggested temperature ranges. Its materials tolerate typical household and recreational settings such as kitchens, bathrooms, campsites and gardens.

• Indoor uses: kitchen counters, bathroom sinks, reaching shelves
• Outdoor uses: camping, fishing, garden tasks on firm ground
• Office and classroom uses for quick access to high storage
• Avoid prolonged exposure below −5°C or above 30°C beyond five hours

What maintenance or care does the ACKO step stool require?

Care is minimal: keep the stool clean and dry, inspect rubber feet occasionally, and avoid storing it in extreme temperatures. Regular checks ensure the anti-slip elements and hinges remain effective over time.

• Wipe down with mild soap and water; dry thoroughly
• Check rubber feet for wear and replace if necessary
• Store folded in a cool, dry place away from direct sun
• Use only on dry, flat surfaces to retain certification performance
