A Freschi srl Turkey Tendon Dog Treats for Small Dogs — 10 oz Strips, Single-Ingredient, Grain-Free Chews

AFreschi Turkey Tendon Dog Treats are single-ingredient, USA-sourced turkey tendon strips made as a long-lasting, easily digestible chew for small dogs.

These 10 oz packs from A Freschi srl contain natural turkey tendon strips crafted without rawhide, grains, fillers, or artificial additives. Designed for small-breed mouths and moderate chewers, the tendons deliver chewy texture, meat-forward flavor, and gentle digestibility compared with some other tendon chews. They’re made from responsibly sourced U.S. turkey and are intended as occasional treats to entertain pups and support routine oral scraping through chewing action.

How do these turkey tendon strips satisfy my small dog’s chewing needs?

The tendons offer a resilient, fibrous texture that keeps small dogs occupied while they chew, providing mental stimulation and a satisfying outlet for natural chewing instincts. They’re long-lasting relative to softer treats but still manageable for smaller jaws.

• Resilient, chewy texture ideal for moderate chewers.
• Portion size suitable for small-breed mouths and shorter chew sessions.
• Meaty aroma and taste that keeps dogs interested.
• Single-ingredient format minimizes flavor fatigue and mixing.

Are these tendon chews easy to digest for sensitive dogs?

Turkey tendons are primarily protein and connective tissue, which many dogs digest more easily than rawhide or heavily processed chews. These strips are often chosen by owners looking for a cleaner, simpler chew option for sensitive stomachs.

• Made from turkey tendon only — no grains or fillers to irritate digestion.
• Lower risk of indigestible residue compared with rawhide alternatives.
• Smaller pieces are manageable for puppies and sensitive adults when supervised.
• Recommended as occasional treats, not meal replacements.

Will these help with my dog’s dental hygiene?

Regular chewing on natural tendon strips can help mechanically reduce soft plaque and tartar buildup by scraping teeth surfaces. While not a substitute for brushing or professional dental care, these chews support routine oral engagement.

• Textured surface helps clean teeth through chewing motion.
• No added sugars or coatings that could stick to teeth.
• Encourages longer chew sessions than some soft treats, increasing scraping action.
• Pairs well with regular tooth brushing and veterinary checkups.

How should I serve AFreschi turkey tendons safely to my small dog?

Offer tendon strips under supervision and remove any small, sharp fragments to avoid choking. Adjust serving frequency to your dog’s size, chewing style, and appetite; store unused pieces in a cool, dry place to retain texture.

• Supervise all chew sessions, especially for puppies and aggressive chewers.
• Break larger strips into bite-size pieces for small dogs if needed.
• Limit treats to a portion of daily calorie intake to maintain balance.
• Store in an airtight container to keep chew texture consistent.

Who is this for: AFreschi Turkey Tendon Dog Treats are aimed at owners of small breeds and moderate chewers who want a simple, single-ingredient chew made from USA-sourced turkey. They suit pet parents seeking clean-label treats without rawhide or fillers, those who prioritize digestibility, and anyone looking for a naturally textured option to occupy and reward their dog. Not recommended for very aggressive chewers who destroy chews into large hard fragments; always match treat choice to your dog’s chewing style and supervise use.
