3M Safety WorkTunes Connect+ Wireless Hearing Protector — Bluetooth + AM/FM, 26 dB NRR, Safe-Volume

3M WorkTunes Connect + AM/FM is a Bluetooth-enabled hearing protector that combines a 26 dB Noise Reduction Rating with AM/FM radio, an integrated microphone, and water-resistant construction for jobsite audio and hearing safety.

Designed for people who need hearing protection and on-the-job audio, this headset pairs protective earmuffs with modern connectivity. It blocks hazardous noise while letting you stream music, listen to AM/FM radio, or take calls hands-free. The unit runs on two AA batteries (or an optional Alpha 1100 rechargeable pack), features Audio-Assist setup guidance, and includes a self-adjusting safe-volume limiter so you can enjoy content without sacrificing protection.

How does this headset balance hearing protection with audio playback?

The 3M WorkTunes Connect + AM/FM seals around the ear to reduce ambient noise while routing Bluetooth and radio audio into the earcup. Its 26 dB NRR indicates substantial attenuation of loud environmental sounds, and the safe-volume control helps prevent audio from defeating the protective purpose.

• 26 dB Noise Reduction Rating to lower hazardous noise exposure
• Safe-volume limiter that self-adjusts during use
• Conformable ear cushions for secure seal and comfort

What wireless and radio features are included for streaming and calls?

You can wirelessly stream from smartphones or Bluetooth devices and listen to AM/FM stations with strong radio reception and three EQ presets. An integrated microphone lets you accept calls without removing the earmuffs, keeping your hands free for work.

• Bluetooth wireless streaming for music, podcasts, and audiobooks
• Built-in AM/FM radio with three equalizer settings
• Integrated microphone for hands-free phone calls

How long does the battery last and what power options are available?

The headset operates on two AA batteries for straightforward replacement on long shifts; you can also upgrade to the optional Alpha 1100 lithium-ion rechargeable battery for faster recharges and fewer battery swaps. Battery life varies with volume and radio use but is optimized for jobsite conditions.

• Powered by two AA batteries included by the user
• Optional Alpha 1100 rechargeable battery available separately
• Designed to preserve power while using radio or Bluetooth

Is this headset durable and comfortable for all-day wear?

The WorkTunes Connect + AM/FM is built to withstand sweat and light moisture while offering comfort features for extended use. A vented headband improves breathability and fits over a baseball cap, and replaceable gel cushions help maintain hygiene and the earmuffs’ noise reduction performance.

• Water- and sweat-resistant construction for jobsite durability
• Vented headband for compatibility with caps and improved comfort
• Replaceable gel cushions available to extend life and hygiene
