3M P100 Multi-Gas & Particulate Cartridge 60926 — P100 Efficiency, Bayonet Fit (1 Pair)

The 3M 60926 P100 cartridge/filter is a NIOSH-approved multi-gas and particulate cartridge that protects against a range of acid gases, certain organic vapors, ammonia, formaldehyde and both oil and non-oil particulates when used with compatible 3M facepieces.

Designed for industrial settings where a mix of gases and particulate hazards may be present, the 3M 60926 combines chemical sorbents with a P100 particulate filter in a single bayonet-style cartridge. It fits multiple 3M half- and full-face respirator series and selected 3M Scott facepieces via an adapter, simplifying inventory and helping crews switch filters quickly between tasks.

Which contaminants does the 60926 cartridge/filter reduce?

This cartridge/filter is certified to filter out many common workplace gases and particulates, including certain organic vapors and listed acid gases, plus ammonia and formaldehyde, along with oil and non-oil particulates to P100 efficiency. It’s intended for exposures that do not exceed the specified protection factors and is not for immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) atmospheres.

• Protected hazards: select organic vapors, chlorine-family gases, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methylamine, formaldehyde, hydrogen fluoride
• Particulate performance: P100 (filters ≥99.97% of airborne particulates)
• Use limits: follows NIOSH assigned limits; not for IDLH environments

Which respirators and adapters are compatible with this cartridge?

The 60926 uses a bayonet connection and pairs directly with 3M 6000 and 7000 series half and full facepieces and the FF-400 Series. It also works with specific 3M Scott full facepieces when the AV-632 bayonet adapter is fitted. The twist-on bayonet design makes attachment and replacement fast and secure.

• Direct fits: 3M 6000 and 7000 series, FF-400 series
• Adapter compatibility: 3M Scott AV-632 for AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal
• Attachment style: bayonet twist-on/twist-off for quick swaps

How should I use and maintain the 60926 cartridges safely?

Users should follow the product’s User Instructions and all applicable workplace respiratory protection requirements, including training, medical clearance and fit testing where required. Replace cartridges when service life indicators are reached, when breathing becomes difficult, or when breakthrough of contaminants is suspected.

• Read and follow included User Instructions before first use
• Implement a respiratory protection program per local regulations (fit testing, training, medical evaluation)
• Store sealed in original packaging; replace if damaged or after service life ends

What jobs and industries commonly use the 60926 cartridge/filter?

This multi-purpose cartridge/filter is well suited for tasks where mixtures of chemical vapors and particulates occur, allowing employers to reduce the number of cartridge types stocked. Typical sectors include petrochemical processing, remediation, metalworking and pharmaceutical production.

• Common uses: chemical handling, painting prep, hazardous waste remediation, welding and cutting
• Industries: petrochemical, utilities, mining, primary metals, pharmaceuticals
• Benefits: inventory reduction, flexible application range, durable bayonet fit

Who is this for: The 3M 60926 P100 cartridge/filter is intended for safety managers, industrial hygienists and field technicians who require a single cartridge capable of addressing multiple gas and particulate hazards when used with compatible 3M or 3M Scott facepieces. It is best for workplaces that follow regulatory respiratory protection programs and need a robust, quick-change filter solution for varied tasks.
