How should I brew 20 Leaves Assam for the best flavor?

Use slightly cooler-than-boiling water and give the leaves time to unfurl for a balanced cup without excessive bitterness. Adjust steeping time and leaf amount to suit strength preferences.

• Measure about 3 grams (roughly 1 teaspoon) of tea per 8 ounces of water.
• Heat water to 190–210°F (just off boil) and pour over the leaves.
• Steep for 5 minutes; shorten for lighter flavor, lengthen for stronger liquor.
• Use a coarse infuser or teapot to allow whole leaves to expand fully.
