1DFAUL Museum Fix Gel Putty 12 oz — Clear Removable Display Adhesive, Reusable Shock-Absorbing

Designed for display cases, museum vitrines, collectors and retail displays, this 12 oz jar of clear fixing gel secures small to medium items without visible adhesive or lingering odor. The formulation emphasizes tack, elasticity and clean removal so delicate artifacts, ceramics, glass and curios stay put during vibrations, handling or transport, yet lift away without residue when you reposition your layout.

How does this gel keep items stable without looking sticky?

The gel is formulated as a transparent, non-yellowing nanomaterial that grips beneath an object's base while remaining visually unobtrusive. Its balanced viscosity offers cushioning and shock resistance, so pieces resist sliding or tipping without thick visible beads of adhesive.

• Crystal-clear appearance for unobstructed viewing
• Elastic, shock-absorbing texture reduces knocks and vibrations
• Non-odorous and non-yellowing for long-term displays

Can I remove the putty without damaging surfaces or leaving residue?

Yes — the material is reusable and engineered to peel cleanly from smooth, non-porous surfaces with minimal transfer. It’s optimized to release without tearing finishes, but it should be used on approved surfaces to avoid marks on porous materials.

• Removes cleanly from glass, metal, ceramics, marble and finished wood
• Reusable: remold and reapply multiple times
• Avoids use on raw wood, paper, textured plaster or micro-porous finishes

What surfaces and items are best suited for the 1DFAUL putty?

The product works best on flat, smooth bases and is ideal for small sculptures, framed miniatures, loose gems, figurines and retail samples. It is not recommended for hanging objects, sloped planes, or any porous surface that may trap the gel and leave marks.

• Recommended: glass, glazed ceramic, polished metal, sealed wood and marble
• Not recommended: raw/unsealed wood, textured or porous walls, paper items
• Only intended for flat bases — do not use for hanging or vertical adhesion

How do I apply and store the gel for best performance?

Application is simple: take a small amount, form a pad for the object’s base, press it in place and allow a short settling time for maximum grip. Store the gel in its original jar, kept sealed and away from dust and extreme temperatures to preserve tack and clarity.

• Application: press a small blob onto the item base, then seat onto the display surface
• Wait time: allow up to ~30 minutes for final set before moving the display
• Storage: seal jar after use; keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

If you manage fragile or high-value pieces on flat display surfaces and require a product that secures objects without visible residue or strong odor, this putty is designed to meet those needs — while avoiding use on porous or vertical surfaces.
