It’s built as a safer alternative to inflatable floaties for boating, pools, lakes, and beach outings where adults remain nearby. The vest’s bright green color improves visibility while the foam construction offers consistent buoyancy without the need to inflate.

How does this life jacket differ from baby floaties or inflatable arm bands?

The Dark Lightning vest is non-inflatable and designed to meet USCG safety criteria for infants and toddlers, so it keeps a child more stably positioned in the water than loose floaties. Unlike arm bands or ring floats, this vest supports the torso and head to reduce awkward tilting, while straps keep the fit secure during movement.

USCG-approved foam construction for reliable buoyancy.

Full torso coverage rather than isolated buoyant pockets like arm bands.

Leg strap prevents the vest from riding up during use.

Top grab handle allows quick parent retrieval in emergencies.

What sizes and weights is the vest meant for?

This life jacket is intended for infants and toddlers weighing up to 30 pounds. It’s particularly suitable for children commonly in the 0–30 lb range, and often chosen by parents of 1–3 year olds who are still small.
