The mix combines high-oil seeds birds love—black oil sunflower, sunflower meats and safflower—with white proso millet and cracked corn, finished with food-grade liquid habanero and safflower oil for a spicy deterrent that mammals tend to avoid. It contains no chemicals or artificial additives, so you’re offering a natural, flavorful feast for a wide range of backyard species.

How does this spicy mix help keep non-bird visitors away?

The habanero-infused oil provides a heat profile that birds can tolerate but many mammals and nuisance species dislike, reducing unwanted feeder theft.
